4 Steps To Put Any Plan On Track

“Plan more than you can do, then do it. Bite off more than you can chew, then chew it. Hitch your wagon to a star, keep your seat, and there you are”

What is it that puts any plan on track and makes it possible? There are some essential steps you must take if you want to succeed with any plan you put in mind. A plan is anything that requires control of action. It can be simple, like planning your trip, or could be complicated like setting up an Internet business. But simple or not, if you want your plan to succeed you need to take four steps:

1. Imagine the purpose.

Before you establish any plan, you need to ask yourself what you really want. It is amazing how many people who don’t know what they really want when they start something.

When you know the answer to that question, then need to ask yourself why you want what you want. This is very important as many people want something but don’t really know why they want it. In the case of the travel your answer might be that you love that place (it’s warm, quiet and you want to get away from the city). To the Internet business you might answer that you want to become your own boss and work from home.

2. Plan the formula.

Once you have found the answers to the questions above you then need to ask yourself “how you can get what you want”. The best way to answer this question is to imagine you already have what you want!

Now that might sound weird, but if you reflect about it, when you answered your first question you had some sort of image in your mind. And when you answered your second question that image must have become clearer. Now all you have to do is make the image clearer still by imagining that you already have what you want. Then you ask yourself how you got it!

In the case of the trip that should be easy. The steps to an Internet business maybe harder to see, but if you keep thinking, keep imagining you have what you want, something amazing will happen. You will start to see the steps you need to take. You will begin to see opportunities you haven’t seen before. This works for everyone who truly wants success.

3. Prepare with patience.

So many people fail to organize a plan. They have an idea and they throw themselves right in. Sometimes it works but mostly it doesn’t! You need to prepare both mentally and physically. If you are not prepared mentally the chances are you will fail physically.

Preparation also requires patience. You would like to get going immediately but sometimes you have to wait. Maybe your plan requires a lot of practice before you are ready to go. Or maybe you might have to rely on others who are not ready when you are.

4. Act upon with joy.

So, now you know what you want, why you want it and how to get it. You have prepared and practiced and you are ready to go. However if your plan involves other people, it may take time to get what you want. They may not have the same plan or the same priorities as you. This is where you have got to keep paying attention on what you want to make happen.

The way to do this is to continually imagine how great you will feel when you have got what you wanted. You must enjoy the whole “journey” to your success. Ask any successful person if they really enjoy what they do and I guarantee the answer will be yes!

One last thing, keep records of your action, they can help you when things are not going as well or as fast as you want. They can also remind you of the steps you took to get what you wanted.

8 Tips to Jumpstart A Positive Morning

Waking up in the morning with positive thoughts is really important, morning is the most important part of the day. Why? - Because this way it can easily set the mood for the rest of your day! Your mind is most open in the morning and what you put in it will stay in it, until at least the end of the day. It is for this reason that often, if you are awakened by a sound or a song, you may be able to easily recall it again and again throughout the day.

Any negative thoughts you have will shape your subconscious for the entire day. Realize, if you wake up and say today’s going to suck, then it will suck. Your subconscious would be imbued with a belief that “today sucks” and would work with your mental filtering systems and all of your senses to perceive information accordingly. There’s a lot to it, but the point of this article is to give you a list of tips to start your day off the right way, so back on track.

1. Get up fast.

Waste no time in getting up. When you wake up, get out of bed as fast as you can! The best cure for procrastination is action – so if you’re procrastinating about getting out of bed, just force yourself to get up! Jumping out of bed will spike your metabolism, and will end all thoughts of “just lying there” a little bit more. Try to put the alarm clock as far as possible from your bed, this will force you to jump out of the bed and go turn it off, this is a good drive to get you up.

2. Day light.

Bright, natural light is ideal for bringing the most energy to all body systems. The power of light is severely underestimated by most people. But the light can have profound effects upon body chemistry and energy levels. So, the sooner you turn on the lights, or open the blinds preferably, the sooner your body’s systems will increase their energy levels. The longer you keep it dark, the harder it will be to wake up – that simple.

3. Keep your room clean.

Waking up to a clean and organized room has a positive first impression upon your mind. Waking up to dirty clothes and full of dust room might be a negative impact on your mind. This may seem like a bit of a feng shui thing, but give it a try, and you will realize – it does work. It’s easier to leave a room when it’s clean and relatively organized, versus one that is piled high and more “cozy.” Keep your room star, put things away from you’re done using them. It will help. This one may not seem that significant, but believe me, it is.

4. Let the fresh air in.

Open the window. No matter what season it is. Open the window. Your bedroom has sat stagnant all night, void of fresh air, especially if you leave your door closed as I do. When you open the window you create a cross draft to bring in fresh air. You have lowered the oxygen level by breathing the same air in the room at night. However, as soon as you open the window, you bring in fresh air with high oxygen levels – instantly raising your energy level. Even if it is cold outside, open the window just a bit. When it’s cold out, it will have even more of an effect – the cool, denser air will carry more oxygen, and the temperature alone will help you to awaken.

5. Music.

Music might not be too motivating for you as it is for others, but music can really shape your mornings. Turn on music as soon as you can after waking up. Make sure it is something positive and uplifting – as chances are it may become stuck in your head for the rest of the day. Personally, I love pounding trance in the morning – it’s positive, uplifting chords and driving bass last with me all day. Make sure you’re listening to something that pulls you up… not down. Also, if music is not available, any high frequency sound chords can work.

6. Cold shower.

Take a cold shower. Yes, freezing cold is unbearable. You don’t have to do it that way. Start it off hot. Then, after you’re medium-toasty (not well-toasty… it will make you more tired), put it on cold for as long as you can take it. Then, put it on hot for a minute, then cold for a minute. Repeat the hot-cold cycle a few times, this will not only wake you up fast, but it will expand and contract your pores to force out toxins and oils from the night. End the shower with a cold rinse, you want to be cold when you step out… it’s critical, as it will raise your metabolism, and keep it there. Try the cold shower thing for a week – you’ll notice a difference. A long, hot shower depresses your physiological systems and makes you want to go back to bed. A cold, invigorating shower will wake you up – fast. Try it.

7. Breakfast

Before breakfast the first step you need to do is drink a full glass of water before you eat anything. This is essential for your body, if you have an empty stomach the toxins will be flushed down, and pass out with your urine, with no food to absorb them. After a few minutes take you breakfast and do not forget about it. How many times have you heard that the most important meal of the day is breakfast? Your body has been starved for eight hours or more, and breakfast is crucial. Breakfast jumpstarts your metabolism, if you get the proper foods it will actually help you lose weight and stay lean. Go online and look for how to eat healthy or go search my blog for some tips. It’s important if you get the right component need for the body to start right in the morning. Make sure you eat some fruit, some protein, and some carbs.

8.Motivate yourself.

Motivation should be the most important part of any morning routine. In the morning, you need to load yourself with as much positive mental programming as possible. Your mind is most receptive to it in the morning (and at night), and it will shape the rest of your day. Your programming comes in many different forms, and it is our job to help you use it to your advantage.

So, if you would like to have a positive day ahead, you need to start off from the right track. Try to use some of these tips presented above and you will get more energy instantly for the rest of the day.

Why a Pen and Notepad Can Get You There

“Beneath the rule of men entirely great, the pen is mightier than the sword.” Baron Lytton Richelieu

Do you ever get an idea and forget about it in the next 5 minutes? And, do you ever try to remember the idea you thought of earlier and find out that you have forgotten what it was about? Well, sorry to say, but the idea you thought of, would probably got you a million dollar. If that happened, it would be disappointing to figure out that someone who had a quite similar idea is now drinking cocktails on a beach side somewhere in the Caribbean’s because of that particular idea.

What can you do to succeed and to not forget those thoughts? Just try to follow the simple steps below, that might be insignificant as you might read right now, but believe me, they are important, and can get you rewards that you never thought of.

1. You should not feel bad for not recalling the idea.

That idea was probably a lot of money to let go of. However, the only thing you can do about it now is learn from you past mistake. I think the saying is, “what doesn’t kill you can only make you stronger.” It is a bit of a cliché but it will suffice. Therefore, the answer to fixing your past mistake of not remembering your million dollar idea is priority.

2. Carry around a pen and notepad with you wherever you go.

Take those two life changing tools everywhere! This is an important course of action and you need to make it work. If one day you achieve the action of placing a pen and notepad in your pocket and finally make it a routine, you increase your odds of finding your financial dream and freedom. But, those odds can further increase in size.

3. Every time you have an idea, write it down.

Do not be lazy and hold it off for later notation because you will once again be one with that bad habit. And if you decided to further that bad habit, I hope that you see a person with that same idea as yours making a ton of money. This is only because that occurrence will drive you to write down all your ideas into the notepad.

4. Make them work.

One more thing to bring it up is that you should put the ideas you have in your notepad to work. No idea will make you money if they are not put into a state of making money. Most of the time the conscious thought about making money will not make you money. You also need to visualize what you want on a paper. Anyways, you have to actually sit down with your potential money making idea and see the steps it will take to achieve your goal of getting those money.

Overall, without any ideas that can potentially bring you wealth, there will be no money. If you have an army of ideas in that notepad of yours, you will probably have some extravagant future to look forward to. The more ideas you have to work with, the better your odds are of becoming rich. It makes logical sense. Think about it.

Carry around a pen and notepad with you wherever you go!

Be In Charge of Anger or Your Health Might Be at Stake

Let’s assume you are standing in the “fast” lane of a shop checkout. You see that the third person ahead of you has about 25 items and is paying by check when the signage clearly restricts this isle to 10 items and cash-paying customers.

You, on the other hand, are standing there with a dollar in your hand to purchase a package of chewing gum. The cashier is doing nothing to deal with the situation and, in fact, is having a pleasant chat with him about his life while she is ringing up his items.

If you are like most people, you will probably knowledge angry feelings. Then what should you do? How should you respond?

Three ways to deal with angry feelings:

1. Transform your thinking.

While irritated manner frequently surprise us and come upon us automatically, it is our “self-talk” that makes us more mad. Change what you tell yourself about what is going on, and you can fundamentally change your feelings about it. In our example, try telling yourself things like “Maybe he or she isn’t conscious that this is an fast lane,” or “Actually, a few minutes more won’t matter,” or “I’ll speak to the supervisor about the issue when I have time.”

2. Lighten up and calm down.

Once captured by strong angry feelings, we may become incapacitated and not capable to problem-solve or to get the information we need to deal with the problem. The solution is to calm down before doing anything.
For example, while standing in line, take in several deep breaths. Count to 10. Tell yourself things like “Calm down,” “this won’t be significant tomorrow,” and “I can manage my emotions.”

3. Look for different responses.

Look for diverse ways to react to the situation, before angry feelings overtake you. Perhaps you can still get what you want without displaying angry actions. For example, try simple information giving (”Are you aware that this is an fast lane?”), or self-confident communication (”may I get ahead of you since this is an fast lane and I have only one item?”).
It is almost always better to try alternatives before expressing anger or violent behavior!

Why keep yourself calm?

Because doing so may help you live healthier and longer. Anger is like obesity. It is all over but not good for anyone. In fact, according to a current issue of The Harvard Mental Health Newsletter, “optimistic hearts do better than angry ones.”
In one research, people with normal blood pressure who scored high on a rating scale for anger were almost three times more likely to have a heart attack or require bypass surgery within five years.

The structure of anger.

Most of the time we do not decide to be angry, but somehow we are unexpectedly in the feeling. Often, we don’t know we are angry until we feel it. Anger, which comes from a part of our brain that is very old, can be very short, lasting only a second or two. You can be happy one moment and angry the next. Angry feelings may also go on over a long period of time. If you are angry a lot, but your feelings are not connected to life situations, we call it a “mood.”
Angry moods lead to angry feelings coming on stronger and faster. Once anger begins, it generates changes in our appearance, our face, our voice, and changes in the way we think. It also creates impulses to action.
Sometimes we have thoughts that generate anger. Other times we have thoughts that happen at the same time as the anger. It is also possible for your anger to create thoughts about what you are angry toward.

The different faces of anger.

You may have detected that what “triggers” your anger one time may not do so at another time. Different people may also react very differently to the same event. Some people recover much more quickly than others when irritated by any negative emotion, including anger.
If you are a quick-recovering person, you probably are also better able to control your emotions. However, if you are challenged in this regard, you will need to work harder to develop anger management skills to deal with your feelings.

Angry feelings are a normal reaction to disappointment, or interference with our goals. Yet, we all are different in terms of what actions activates anger in us, how powerfully we respond, and how long it takes us to get back to normal. Learning to change our self-talk, cooling off, and looking for alternative responses are all efficient ways to better manage with angry feelings.

Going through the list will help you to overcome the temptation that you may feel to light up a cigarette.

Drinking 8-10 glasses of water in a day is helpful in removing toxins from the body. To quit smoking you should avoid alcohol, coffee and high calorie snacks. Finding a substitute also proves a good idea to quit smoking.

Every smoker should decide which of these ways to quit smoking is best for him. 4 Ways to Get to Know Yourself

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, your victory will not stand in doubt; if you know Heaven and know Earth, you may make your victory complete.” Sun Tzu

Why do you react the way you do? What makes you get angry or happy? Most people can’t begin to answer these questions about themselves. Even though most people would claim they know who they are, in reality they don’t. Most every self-help courses start with the idea that you must know yourself before you can know what you are going to do and how you will act with others.

Even he Bible tells us to “Know thyself.” before you can know God. People may have a general idea of what they like or want or may even have some sort of direction; but they don’t pursue what really makes them function as they do.

The step you need to take to a more stable life is to know yourself first, this provides you the idea where you want to see yourself and what you really want to do. I am presenting you below some basic directions that might help with your walk to know yourself.

1. You Must Evaluate Yourself.

Certainly your evaluation of yourself would be strikingly different than any persons’ evaluation of you. You would tend to be harder in your assessment of yourself than someone else. Why? Because you know what your expatiations are and if you are living up to them. Common people do not evaluate the physiological side of someone else, because they could not detect abnormal traits without proper training. Even if they tried it would still take a trained professional to make a valid evaluation. Any evaluation of a person would differ from person to person.

2. Evaluate Your Actions.

Remember the saying, “the world is a stage and we are only actors,” well it’s true. You project what you believe to be appropriate for the particular situation. That is why it is called “action” because you become engaged as the actor in the act. Because your actions are determined by your relations and experiences. Only you would know what you believe in and how you would react to different stimuli. Another person’s evaluation would be based on their own value system and their perception of how it should be structured. We see ourselves and the world from the inside out, others see us from the outside in. They see a projection of us, like an actor in a play.

3. Know How You Are.

You can set down and self-evaluate yourself, but your examination would be unfairness and would never be true in the eyes of someone else. Their examination of you would always be tainted by their own self serving eccentrics. You can only make a determination of how you are going to accept or reject any particular person or thing, but not why you made the assessment. True assessments come from a mixture of previous determinations. These are accounted as values and morals which are driven by your individual, social, financial, physical, interaction, and religious considerations. These differences are what makes you an individual. The fact is, you can know what you want but never totally why you want it. The most valuable contribution you can make to yourself is in the quality of your relationships with others. Be truthful, faithful, and diligent in all that you do. Honesty, and forthrightness, comes as a result of your doing the right thing.

4. Develop A Positive Attitude.

It is attitude, without a doubt, that is the one most important thing you possess, and guess what, you are in control of it. It’s up to you how you greet the world and everyone in it. Positive is met with positive, and your positive attitude will reflect a winning personality. Let’s face it, success and failure are the same, only on opposite sides of the rule. It’s the law of cause and effect. If effects are to be changed, the cause must be altered. It’s the law, nothing personal, it’s the same for everyone.

How is your inner self contending with all the complexities you face on a daily bases?

Of course you are bombarded daily with stressful and negative events that there is no getting around. At times life really stinks but you still have to face the relationships, jobs, financial matters, physical fitness, religion which all pose questions and all present challenges. Each phase of life will present complexities unique to that particular period in your life. You will never be completely free from challenges but by knowing yourself you can face adversities with confidence. Each life event can be met with the assurance that you can and will triumph. It is important that in the face of adversity that you are collected and maintain a positive attitude. Anything can be overcome by a person who knows what his/her limits are and with the right attitude.

So, don’t worry who you are but rather concentrate on how you are.

If you are interested in this topic, you can also answer this question above in the comment section below or you just leave your opinion.

Get Back Your Balance Between Career and Family

“The real payoff has been in finding a healthy balance between family and career.” Michael Lyons

For some reason, people are guilt-ridden with their career decisions and the choices they make about working while trying to raise their children, providing nutritious meals, keeping a respectable house and keeping their love ones happy. Last on the list, of course, is finding some time for themselves. So how do you find time to actually feel happy with your daily activities while keeping up with all of the responsibility?

1. Appreciate What You Have First.

Every day, try to look around and appreciate what you have, taking in the sounds of your child’s laughter, the wag of your dog’s tail, the special glance of your husband/wife as you tell a funny joke. Sometimes, the knowledge of what you have on your plate for the day will feel overwhelming, but a little perspective goes a long way. It may be a cliché and a very tired phrase, but it truly does work. People tend to get lost in the mundane, day-to-day “functioning” instead of really living their lives. Just a few minutes of gratitude a day will work wonders for your soul and automatically make your life feel more balanced.

2. Give More Time To Yourself.

Try and give yourself some “me” time once a week. Once a week may not seem like much, but if you really allow yourself to soak it in and enjoy the time spent, it will make the stress of all of the rest of the hectic days melt away. Take a good block of time on a Saturday or Sunday - 2 hours, maybe - and mark this time in your calendar in pen. Keep a standing appointment with yourself, and honor it as you would any other. Think you are too busy on a weekend to do this? You will feel much more productive the rest of the weekend allowing yourself this little ‘refresher’, rather than trying to cram some time in on a random Tuesday or other weeknight.

3. Go Out And Have Fun.

For this special time, you can book a massage or a facial at your favorite spa. Take a couple of hours to go shopping at your favorites stores, by yourself or with a friend. Take in a matinee with a couple of friends. Even if your budget doesn’t allow for these activities once a week, you can lock yourself in the bathroom with a good book, a bubble bath and a nice glass of wine and feel good about your time alone - you deserve some! This works for both “women and men”.

4. Find The Moments You Never Thought Existed.

Probably the most obvious way to balance career and family is to incorporate your family into what would otherwise be “work time”. If you have a short commute to work, for example, perhaps you can drive your kids to school each morning instead of having them take the bus. In the alternative, you could have your morning cup of coffee at the bus stop with them and spend a few minutes chatting about their day and what they plan to learn in school as you sip your cup of coffee and breathe in the morning air to mentally prepare for your own day ahead.

5. Mange Your Exercises.

If you normally exercise in the morning and leave the house very early, switch your workout time to lunch and leave the office to go to the gym, eating at your desk when you get back. You will have more time with your family each day and get a healthy break from your pile of papers to boot.

You may need to get a little creative with your schedule, but there are definitely ways to help balance career and family. Sometimes an extra few minutes each day or a once-weekly good block of time can go a long way in helping restore your peace of mind and help you feel less harried.
